Tailor Made for Curves

Are you a former garment sewer? Do you still have those fancy dressmaker’s sewing tools around? You can use a dressmaker’s or tailor’s curve ruler for many quilting tasks as well. The curvy parts are handy for marking curved quilting lines on the quilt; use the inch markings on the curve as registration marks to duplicate the same curve multiple times on different parts of the quilt. Use the tailor’s curve with pencil and paper when designing quilting motifs or appliqué patterns.
