Attach a pocket to the back of the quilt as a label to hold extra fabric scraps for repairs, a small journal with construction notes or mementos, or care instructions for the recipient. Document the quilt with important information on the outside of the pocket, like the title of the quilt, completion date, gift occasion and the name of the quilt maker.
