Remember when most sewing machines didn’t have ¼” presser feet and quilters used a strip of moleskin foot padding stuck to the machine bed as a seam guide? These days, you can purchase a ¼” foot for most machines, but don’t throw out the moleskin just yet! There may come a time when you’ll need a seam guide on your machine for topstitching or a wider than normal hem, and presser feet and needle adjustments just won’t do. Moleskin to the rescue!
Go quilt! Your work gets better every day!
