[...] The carefully chosen palette for my next current project has been sitting there on the cutting table since I took a picture of it to share, over a week ago (it has now entered “current” project status, as you’ll see). It’s not that I don’t want to work on it, I do, other things keep getting in the way, including my own “quilt design block.” [...]

Thanks Emma! the fabric laying across the top is a Jinny Beyer border print.

Hey Kelly! Be careful what you wish for: today was another one full of various "issues" with the house instead of quilting! There are three Fairy Frost fabrics in there actually. I'd prefer not to use the same print more than once, but if I have to to get the colors right, so be it!

I hope I can maintain this gorgeousness when I add in the rest of the plan, Rian! Wish me luck that I won't have to change horses in midstream on this one...

The fabrics are subtle, understated, gorgeous. Can't wait to see what you do with them.

Don't hold back about the move. It is interesting to read about something so different and exotic as compared to my life. I think the neutrals for your background are beautiful. Did I see some Fairy Frost?

What beautiful colours! I'm inspired to try them myself! Is the swirl across the top fabric too?
