To anyone who has tried to post a comment to the weblog and been unable to, I must apologize! The comment feature hasn’t ever worked, as far as I can tell, or it may have gone bad during an upgrade or something, and shame on me for not thoroughly testing it. (I don’t comment on my own entries, though!) 
So, I’m working on that now, and hope to have it fixed fairly shortly.
