Quilting with Patches and Shadow: Not quilting, just nursing!

Well, we’ve had a sick kitty here. Patches has been really, really ill since Sunday evening, not eating or drinking, and he was lethargic and has sores in his mouth. Bad, bad news. The blood test results are still inconclusive, but we think he may have FIP, which is really not good. Today though, after a trip to the vet to pump him with fluids, painkillers, and vitamin paste, I’m happy to say that he did eat some canned food, for the first time since Sunday. Maybe he is getting better.

So, I haven’t quilted much these past few days. I’ve been too worried to concentrate on it really. Maybe tomorrow will be easier and I can get back to semi-normal.

Shadow Quilting

This is what happens when I take a break from stippling! He’s growing so fast that soon he won’t be able to fit there, so hopefully I’ll be able to quilt without interuptions of this type anyway. Very cute, but I had to make him move. Must stipple!
